Magnolia Sympathy

For me, sympathy cards are always the hardest cards to make.
I started with the retired Magnolia Lane large speciality memories & more cards & envelopes as the base. Inside the metallic frame I used a 4 x 3 piece of retired Floral Romance DSP that I popped up with dimensionals. I die cut a piece of Mossy Meadow using the Painted Labels dies (151605). The centre is a piece of Blushing Bride CS punched out using the 2 inch punch circle punch. The sentiment is from the Peaceful Moments stamp set (151595) inked in Mossy Meadow. The flowers are from the retired Magnolia Lane Memories & More card pack that I fussy cut out & adhered using liquid Tombow glue. Once I had the flowers attached, I adhered the die cut circle to the card using dimensionals. The last touch was to add a few pearls to the bottom of the circle.

Another Gift Card Holder

I have really enjoyed decorating the tin gift card holders this year! For this guy, I started with Trimming the Town DSP as the base. The Whisper White circle was die cut using the Stitched Shapes dies (152323). Tucked behind the circle is retired Mercury Glass acetate die cut using the Beautiful Boughs dies (150661). I stamped the owl from the Have a Hoot set (153389) onto the Whisper White circle. I stamped it again on a scrap of Whisper White then die cut it out using the coordinating Peek-a-Hoot die (153573). I popped the owl up using dimensionals. I used Stampin’ Blends to colour the owl & branch. The sentiment is from the retired Tin of Tags stamp set using Memento Black ink. I punched it out using the Banners Pick a Punch (153608) & popped it up with dimensionals.

Gift Card Holders

I had a request come in for a few more gift card holders.

I used the Trimming the Town DSP (153491) for the background. The presents were fussy cut from the Most Wonderful Time DSP (150705). The back two packages were glued to the Black Glitter paper (153518) that was die cut using the Layering Circles dies (151770). The package in front was popped up using a dimensional. The sentiment is from the retired Tin of Tags stamp set. I heat embossed it in the retired Shimmer Black embossing powder (before adhering it to the tin).

Welcome Little One

Our son’s teacher is going out on maternity leave & will not return for the rest of the year. I could not resist making a fun card & gift card holder. I have been doing some organizing in the craft room & came across some old DSP that I felt would be perfect & was my inspiration for the card.

The card base is from Whisper White note cards & envelopes. If you look closely, you can get a sneak peek at a few items from the new mini Jan-June catalogue (Love You Always foil sheets behind the hedgehog & Blushing Bride metallic ribbon tucked behind the foil sheet). The adorable hedgehog is from the current Walk in the Woods stamp set (152618). The DSP is from the retired Falling in Love DSP

The gift card holder tin was made using the retired Fox Builder Punch. I had to do some modifications to get it into bear mode from the fox; added a few pearls for the extra bling at the end.
