Floral Mother’s Day Card

Yes, another Mother’s Day card! Inspired from Pinterest as usual.. This card could easily be changed to any occasion. I used the Jar of Flowers stamp set for the jar & flowers. I coloured the flowers using Stampin’ Blends. I added a little of Wink of Stella for good measure to add a subtle bling to the card. The background paper is a retired DSP. I die cut the Basic White card using the Stitched Rectangles dies (151820). I used the Banners Pick a Punch (153608) to create the banner for the sentiment. The bow was created using the retired Mossy Meadow 3/16″ braided linen trim (154298).

More Mother’s Day Cards

This card was made for our son to give to his grandma. Sadly, the Kangaroo & Company bundle is retiring on June 30th. However, I will be holding on to it. The blue background was created using the Blending Brushes (153611) & Balmy Blue ink. I coloured the kangaroo using the Stampin’ Blends then die cut them out with the coordinating dies. I just love that cute little envelope that fits perfectly in the kangaroos pouch. The heart from the Resin Hearts (154578) fits perfectly on the stamped heart on the envelope. The Basic White cardstock was die cut using the new Scalloped Contours dies (155560).

The inside sentiment is from a new stamp set found on page 52 of the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue called Inspired Thoughts (155536). It is part of a bundle but for this card, I only used the sentiment, not the dies. On the inside, I also stamped a little roo.

Happy Mother’s Day!

I hope all the mom’s out there are enjoying the day to celebrate the best profession out there. I am one of the lucky ones that still have my mom here to celebrate. A special card was needed to send to a special mom.

Although the Designer Series Paper (DSP) is retired, the stamp set Free as a Bird is not. It can be found in the 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue on page 83, item number 149468. I fussy cut the bird & flowers & popped them up using dimensionals. I coloured the bird & flowers using Stampin’ Blends. The Basic White background was die cut using the new Scalloped Contours dies (155560). I added a little bling in the centre of the flowers using the now retired frosted & clear epoxy dots. I dressed up the envelope using the same retired DSP.

End of Season Gifts For The Hockey Team

This was a hard year for hockey players in the state of Washington due to the lockdowns & COVID restrictions. We are grateful for all our team coaches & managers to help navigate the COVID waters this year.

The 3×3 cards were made using the new Blending Brushes (which are 100% amazing!) to create the yellow glow background. The Blending Brushes can be found on page 129 of the new 2021-2022 Annual Catalogue, item number 153611. The light bulb stamp set is a retired Stampin’ Up! set called Watts of Occasions. The goalie helmet & puck stamps are also from a retired Stampin Up! set from many years ago!. The big goalie stamp on the gift card holder is from a non-Stampin’ Up! set.
