Happy Birthday to my beautiful friend

I saw this on Pinterest & have wanted to make one of these cards using the Tailored Tag punch.

I used the retiring Hydrangea Hill DSP & the new Ombre Specialty Paper (155784). I layered the punched tags onto a piece of Gorgeous Grape cardstock. I stamped the sentiment from Friends Are Like Seashells (158203)in Gorgeous Grape onto the Hydrangea Hill DSP. I wrapped a piece of the retiring Blackberry Bliss Striped Ribbon around the top layer. However, I popped up the stamped sentiment tag using dimensionals over the ribbon. In the upper left corner, I added a few Pastel Pearls (154571) for the subtle bling touch.

Well, All I Can Say Is… Thanks!

Another Pinterest inspired card. I mixed up the colours a little bit to add my own flair.

I started with a Smokey Slate background. I embossed the sentiment from the retired Massive Thanks stamp set using white embossing powder. I die cut the letters using colours from the Brights Family (Poppy Parade, Melon Mambo, Mango Melody, Granny Apple Green, Pacific Point & Gorgeous Grape). I placed a sheet of Adhesive Sheets (152334) behind the cardstock before running it through the Stampin’ Cut & Emboss machine.

The inside sentiment was stamped in Pacific Point ink using the same Massive Thanks stamp set.

2021 Graduation Cards

I needed to make a few graduation cards for family & friends. I used the same template for both but changed the focal colour to match their school colours.

The card base was die cut using the Brick & Mortar 3D EF. After I embossed it, I lightly ran the Basic White craft ink pad over it to add a little dimension to the bricks. I die cut the numbers using the retired Large Number dies. I used Basic Gray & retired Galvanized Metallic paper for the numbers. The accents are also retired items; but they give a simple masculine bling that I was looking for.

Today’s Plan:

This fabulous card was cased by one of my favourite Canadian demonstrators, Crafty Carrot.

I am so happy the In Good Taste DSP carried over! I layered the DSP on a piece of Early Espresso onto the Grey Granite card base. Evening Evergreen was cut using the Layering Circles dies. On Basic White, I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso from the Nothing’s Better Than stamp set. To get the “and be awesome” to fit the bottom, I slightly curved the photopolymer stamp. Pretty cool, eh?! I used Bubblebee & Grey Granite layers under the BEER. I die cut the BEER using Early Espresso cardstock. I placed a sheet of Adhesive Sheet behind the cardstock before die cutting it with the Playful Alphabet dies

Love & Laughter

Another Pinterest card. Because this is a special wedding card, I wanted to dress up the card base. I used Shimmery White cardstock instead of the usual Basic White. I used Grey Granite as the subtle accent colour. The center was embossed using the retired Scripty EF. I wrapped a piece of Grey Granite Shimmer Ribbon (152463) around the square base. I punched one heart using the Heart Punch Pack (151292) in Grey Granite & another in vellum. For a subtle bling I used one of the retired Clear Epoxy Droplets. The sentiment is from the Forever Fern stamp set (152559) inked in Grey Granite.
