My Thoughts on Retired Products

Even though Stampin’ Up! retires a product, if it’s something I love, I continue to use it. I encourage you to do the same. The beauty of Stampin’ Up! is how well their products coordinate. Often times, I am using something that retired years ago but still works with current product. I am warning you now, I will use the Subtle Embossing Folder (EF) for years to come. In fact, I ordered a second one in case my current one wears out! If you do not own it, do yourself a favour & order it while you can 🙂

Here are a few pet sympathy cards that I delivered to our local mail post. I made these using mainly retired product. Sadly, the dog punch is retiring. The cat punch will remain in the main annual catalogue. The heart dies retired several years ago. The pink & blue DSP is from this years Sale-a-bration. The “fur” paper is from the Playful Pet DSP that is set to retire. The stamp set is from a few years ago.
