Happy Birthday Mom!

When it’s your mom’s birthday, you need to go over the top. This card is simply stunning in person! There are many layers to this card but overall it was fairly simple to make. I CASEd this from Pinterest but it was made with much love.

I embossed using the Brick & Mortar 3D EF (149643) on Whisper White. One of the Red Real layers was embossed using the Subtle 3D EF (151775). The stamp set is Forever Fern (152559) with the coordinating Forever Flourishing dies (152714). Speciality papers used are Heartwarming Hugs DSP (153492) & Silver Foil sheets (132178). 1 ½ Metallic Mesh Ribbon (153550) & Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets (147801).

Oh Deer, Another Birthday

Here is another super simple card thanks to the Most Wonderful Time kit. I started with a Whisper White card base. I cut a piece of Old Olive to 5 x 3 ¾. On a piece of Whisper White I stamped the trees in Old Olive ink using a stamp from the Merry Moose stamp set (150494) To create the forest, I used the stamp off technique. I ink up the stamp & stamp 1-3 times before reinking it; it helps give a depth to the forest. The sentiment was stamped in Old Olive. Once I glued the Whisper White to the Old Olive layer, I popped it up on the card base using dimensionals. The deer is a sticker from the Most Wonderful Time Product Medley refill kit (151270) current on sale for $20.80 on the retiring list.

Oh Deer, Happy Birthday

For this simple birthday card, I started with Grey Granite as the card base. I added another layer of Grey Granite cut to 5 x 3 ¾. I stamped the tree from the Merry Moose stamp set (150494). I used the stamp off technique; I inked it up with Old Olive then stamp 1-3 times before reinking it to give the trees a depth feeling to them. Once I was done stamping, I ran it through the embossing machine using my favourite Subtle 3D EF (151775). I stamped the sentiment in Old Olive onto a 5 x ½ piece of Grey Granite cardstock then popped it up with dimensionals. The deer is a sticker from the Most Wonderful Time Product Refill Kit (151270). **on sale for $20.80 while supplies last**. The star is also from the same kit.
