Happy Birthday Mom!

When it’s your mom’s birthday, you need to go over the top. This card is simply stunning in person! There are many layers to this card but overall it was fairly simple to make. I CASEd this from Pinterest but it was made with much love.

I embossed using the Brick & Mortar 3D EF (149643) on Whisper White. One of the Red Real layers was embossed using the Subtle 3D EF (151775). The stamp set is Forever Fern (152559) with the coordinating Forever Flourishing dies (152714). Speciality papers used are Heartwarming Hugs DSP (153492) & Silver Foil sheets (132178). 1 ½ Metallic Mesh Ribbon (153550) & Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets (147801).

The layers-
Whisper White 5 x 3 ¾ embossed with brick
Whisper White 5 ⅛ x 3 ⅞
Real Red 4 ¼ x 2 ⅞
Real Red 4 x 2 ¾ embossed with subtle folder
Heartwarming Hugs DSP 1 ½ x 4 ¼
Silver Foil ⅛ x 3 ¾
Silver Foil 2 ½ x 3 ¾
Whisper White 2 ¼ x 3 ¾ stamped image on center

Between us, we offer more than 53 years of experience demonstrating fabulous Stampin’ Up! projects for you.  This year we are adding a bevy of NEW demonstrators who will be helping us expand your Stampin’ Up! horizons. This gives you a wider range of exciting perspectives on the paper crafting experience & keeps things fresh & lively.  Our goal in working together is to provide an exciting, enjoyable, & creative crafting experience for you.

Join us for this truly special event.  We have so many terrific ideas to share with you about stamping & creating. We have some awesome ways to incorporate the new January-June Mini and Sale-A-Bration catalogues into your crafting experience.

Participants will receive an exclusive link & password to the private Zoom session about a week prior to the Crafting Escape event.  The invitation to join the Zoom session, as well as other communication about this event, will be sent to the email address you provide on your registration form. Make sure that is your current email so you don’t miss anything.

On Friday, January 22, at 7PM PST you’ll get to meet the team & participating demonstrators & learn a little about each of us, how the Crafting Escape event overview & see some new products demonstrated! This is a new feature; we think it will be enormously popular!

In addition to live sessions featured during the exclusive Zoom session, there will also be recorded sessions.  You’ll be able to “escape” to see at least 10 different presentations!  If you can’t join live, that’s okay.  And. . . since this is a virtual event, you can join us from anyplace in the world!  Once you register, you will have access to the recording of the Crafting Escape event. You can go back & watch everything for a full 30 days after the event.

Cost of the retreat is just $35. Here’s what you get:

  • At least 10 Stamping Presentations, each with several projects presented.
  • At least Five (5) Make-n-Takes with new products from five of the suites or bundles in the 2021 January-June Mini Catalogue & Sale-a-bration brochure.
  • Written tutorials for Make-n-Take projects.
  • A PRIZE in every SWAGgie (Stuff We All Get) Baggie.
  • An opportunity to share your own creative work as you use our ideas to make your own projects.
  • An email giving you access to tutorials and videos (perfect if you can’t participate in the live Zoom sessions) of the event for up to 30 days after the Crafting Escape event.

Please complete the registration form below & return to me at jillfhcrc@yahoo.com. You will also need to register online thru Zoom; you must use the same email address on your registration form that you use to log in to the Zoom session. Register on the Zoom website ONLY AFTER I have received your payment; I’ll send you a link to the Zoom registration page. I accept both Venmo & PayPal for payment options.

QUESTIONS? Here are some ANSWERS!

I have never used Zoom or I do not have a Zoom account. How do it use it or set it up? Can I still register?

Yes, please DO register! A Zoom account is free. You DO NOT need to sign up for a paid account to participate. You need to download the web client (if using a computer) or Zoom App (if using a mobile device). Either download is FREE. You will not be able to participate via the Zoom website.

We can walk you through setting up your free account so you can join the fun. Not only is it free, it’s a secure and safe form of connecting. Please understand that we can only help you get set up with Zoom BEFORE January 21. After that, we will be fully immersed in finalizing things for your Crafting Escape and will not be able to tear ourselves away to work on Zoom set up. Be sure you don’t wait until the last minute to get your Zoom account set up.

How do I know what stamps I need?

While all the projects are designed to be generic so you can use any stamps, inks and adhesives that you have in coordination with the Make-n-Takes you’ll receive in your SWAGgie Baggie, you will also have the option of purchasing the new stamp set, Happy Thoughts (designed by million-dollar earner, Jackie Bolhuis), as an add-on to your registration fee. Your demonstrator will have details about how you can do this. If you choose this option, we are confident you will be able to make what we share!

Will I be stamping my Make-n-Takes with you?

We understand that everyone stamps at a different pace, but we also know that many of you prefer to stamp at the same time and be active participants in the creative process. Therefore, the presentations are designed to allow you to stamp “along with us.” We will share the Make-n-Take projects and teach you how to make them. The project pieces and supplies will be sent to you prior to the event and will include the precut, pre-embossed card stock and embellishments needed to complete your project. We will also be sure you have the tutorial, which will list all the supplies and cutting dimensions and will provide instructions. This will make it easy for you to complete the projects along with us but at your own speed and with your own extra supplies.

What if I need more time to finish my Make-n-Takes?

The recording will be available to view so it will give you all you need to follow along and complete your projects.

What if I am not available the day of the ‘Escape?’ Or what if the time zone doesn’t work?

This is where Zoom and being able to record the event excels! On about January 25, you will receive an email with links to the tutorials and all of the videos. You can go to the recording and watch replays if you missed us when we were live. You will have access to the Zoom recording for 30 days after Crafting Escape.

Can I join in if I am a Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator?

ABSOLUTELY, YES! We love sharing with other demonstrators! You can even invite your own team and customers and share the experience with them. It saves you so much time from creating it all on your own.

Can I join if I don’t live in the US?

YES! You just won’t be able to get the SWAGgie Baggie (we can only mail those within the US).

WE ARE SO EXCITED TO STAMP AND SHARE OUR IDEAS WITH YOU! If you have any other questions about this great Crafting Escape, please ask (just don’t wait until the last minute; we want to be sure you have all the information you need to register in time)!  We hope you will join us.

Most Wonderful Time medley kit

For this elegant card, I started with Whisper White for the card base. The first layer is Old Olive cut 5 ¼ x 4. I cut the Most Wonderful Time DSP (designer seriers paper) 1 ¾ x 5; cutting it so the gold was on the edges. I layered another piece of DSP cut 1 ½ x 5. These 2 layers were glued to the card base using glue of choice. I die cut a piece of Real Red using the Stitched Shapes dies (152323) then embossed it using the Subtle 3D EF (151775). The greenery with berries is a sticker from the Most Wonderful Time kit. I layered them behind the circle. The circle was adhered using dimensionals. The deer is a sticker from the Most Wonderful Time kit, I slapped him on the red circle- so easy!! For added subtle bling I used Frosted & Clear Epoxy Droplets (147801). The sentiment is from the For Unto Us stamp set (153335) stamped in Old Olive.

Christmas Wishes

Here is another quick & simple card made using the Most Wonderful Time product medley kit. I started with a Whisper White card base. I layered using Most Wonderful Time DSP (designer series paper) cut 5 ¼ x 2 & glued to Whisper White card base. Basic Black CS cut 2 ¼ x 4 ¾ layered with DSP cut 2 x 4 ¼ . I die cut Real Red using Stitched Shapes (152323) die. The Christmas tree is a sticker from the Most Wonderful Time kit. I topped it with a gold star from the kit. The sentiment is from the Banner Year (153464) stamp set inked with Memento black. I made the banner using the Banners Pick a Punch (153608) & adhered it to the card using dimensionals to give it a little pop. The red dots are from the All the Trimmings Embellishments (153540).

Be Merry!

This card is quite simple thanks to the Most Wonderful Time kit. I started with a Whisper White card base. I cut a piece of DSP (designer series paper) from the Most Wonderful Time refill kit (151270) 5 ¼ x 4. I cut a piece of the striped DSP 2 x 4 & glued them together with glue of your choice. I die cut a piece of Whisper White CS using the Stitched Shapes die (152323) & adhered it to the card using dimensionals to get it a little pop. The candy canes are stickers in the kit. I used a glue dot to adhere the bow; retired red glitter twine. The sentiment is from the Banner Year (153464) stamp set using Old Olive ink stamped onto another sticker from the kit & stuck it on the card. Easy peasy!
